Microforms include microfiche (rectangular sheets of film) and microfilm (rolls of 35mm film). Microforms are usually copies of older newspapers, journals, and magazines, but also include selected Government Documents and special historical collections.
Microforms are in metal cabinets on the 4th floor, behind the elevators. Microfiche ERIC Documents have been moved into storage, but documents can be retrieved upon request at the Check-Out desk.
The 4th floor microforms area includes two digital microform scanners, which allow you to save, email, or print to the 1st floor printers. Printing is 15 cents per page and requires use of a OneCard or a guest print/copy card, which can be purchased from the machine near the Research Assistance Desk.
Ask at the Research Assistance Desk for help finding and using microforms.
