Stolen Education tells the story of Mexican American school children who challenged discrimination in Texas schools in the 1950s.
Dr. Nancy Acevedo-Gil, Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, will facilitate a discussion after the film screening, along with Dr. Enrique Murillo, Professor, Teacher Education and Foundations Department, and special guest via Zoom, Dr. Enrique Alemán, Jr., Professor and Chair, Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
