Now Available! Social Sciences Citation Index, or SSCI
SSCI tracks citation patterns in social sciences journals. Unlike more familiar article databases, a citation index helps you locate all the articles which have cited an earlier article in their bibliographies, as well as the articles cited in original article. In this way, students can use an important article to look both backward and forward at the trail of research on a particular subject.
You can also search SSCI by keyword or subject, then rank the results to put the most-cited articles first. This helps to identify the most influential and important articles on a given research topic.
Date coverage is 1985 to the present.
Access to SSCI is made possible by the generous assistance of CSUSB’s College of Education, in support of the university’s new doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
