The New San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation Demonstration Garden

A beautiful new garden has been installed near the Student Recreation and Fitness Center. Susan Lien Longville’s presentation will highlight the reasons for building the garden and its unique attributes. She also will address how interested home gardeners can learn more about climate-appropriate plants and the many benefits they provide for San Bernardino gardeners.

Longville is the director of the Water Resources Institute at California State University San Bernardino. She worked tirelessly to build the necessary community partnerships that made the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation Demonstration Garden possible.
