Movies at the Library

pile of books, movie board, and popcornMOVIE or BOOK! BOOK or MOVIE! Maybe both!!

It is a timeless question: Why read the book when you can watch the movie? People often choose between one and the other, when each has a magic all of its own. Books have inspired some of the best performances in film and theater, while films have brought books to life. The ability to see the stories and characters on the silver screen has persuaded audiences of all ages to read the classic novels that inspired their favorite films. This is also the case for books that have pushed readers to fill the movie theaters in order to compare the characters and stories on screen to those of their imaginations.

Come and view the great collection of movies and books the library has. In order to check out a movie, bring the call number to the Circulation Desk. Use the Video/DVD Search in the Pfau Library OneSearch.

DVD and book donations are welcomed at all times throughout the year. All material donated to the library is reviewed prior to being added to the library’s collection. For book, DVD, CD, or journal donation questions, please contact Catrina Mancha at (909) 537-5096 or cmancha@csusb.edu. More information on donations and giving to the library.
