Hello Campus Community,
Please join the John M. Pfau Library in our first “BE CREATIVE” summer program for kids. The library will be hosting a three-day summer workshop for children on July 12-14, 2011, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in PL-4005 (4th floor).
The library staff will guide children ages 7-9 and 10-12 through projects such as watercolor painting and creating their own comic book. The children will be able to participate in activities that will allow them to use their imaginations and creativity. Books on the subjects explored in the program will be available; therefore, parents are encouraged to bring their Coyote OneCards with them to check-out books when picking up their children. Register and enjoy the library this summer! Registration begins June 1, 2011, and runs until all spots are filled.
The cost of the program is $30 per day, or $80 for all three days. All funds generated by this program will go into the Pfau Library materials budget and ultimately help the library expand its Juvenile Collection. Space is limited to 20 children per day, so don’t miss the opportunity to sign your child up for a great time. We thank you for your support to help raise funds for the library.
