Last few days of Chinese New Year exhibit

Year of snake

Visit Pfau Library to view the last few days of our Chinese New Year exhibit! This month marked the beginning of year 4710, the year of the snake, a year that will bring us prosperity, peace, cosmic awareness, and spiritual rebirth.

This exhibit was a joint venture. It includes information on Chinese astrological signs, gifts given to the campus by delegations of Chinese scholars and by Chinese students, and books that were loaned to us for this exhibit by librarian Xiwen Zhang, books that were saved by her brother from the destruction that was part of the Cultural Revolution.

Please come view the exhibit, pick up a pamphlet, share a brief commemorative moment, and discover information about the sign for the year you were born. This exhibit will be on display until February 27 in the case at the entrance to Pfau Library Special Collections.
