Citation Style Help!

Confused about academic paper styles like MLA, APA, or Chicago? We can help!

The library has guides covering the highlights of these major styles:

On our Citation Styles Library Guide we link to reputable web sites that can help with your citation style questions.

If all else fails, we keep copies of the full manuals for APA and MLA style available for quick use at the Reference Desk; the latest Chicago style manual is kept in the Reference shelving area.

Want to get more sophisticated with your citations?

EndNote Web is a citation manager that allows you to organize and format your citations. You must be on campus to create your user account! Most of the library’s databases have a function for saving lists of citations, which you can then import into EndNote Web; an MS Word plug-in available from the EndNote site helps you insert citations into your paper.
