New Year’s Eve
2011, 118 min. Directed by Garry Marshall.
Following on the heels of the similarly themed film, Valentine’s Day (also directed by Marshall), this train wreck of a film features an all-star cast, including former Academy Award winners, DeNiro, Swank, and Berry. Various disparate stories all come to a resolution on New Year’s Eve in Times Square, of course. Surprisingly, the two actors who come off best in this production are Lea Michele and Ashton Kutcher. Middling story lines—recommended only for fans of stars in the film. View the record for New Year’s Eve.
