Original Administration building on Mountain View Avenue

Original Administration building on Mountain View Ave.

On April 29, 1960, California State Senator Stanford Shaw introduced legislation for San Bernardino-Riverside State College .

In 1961 the Legislature appropriated the funds to purchase a site for the college.

In July of 1962 the Legislature took out a two year lease on the new building at 532 North Mountain View Ave. in San Bernardino for the San Bernardino-Riverside State College’s first Administration Building. Here they would plan our university!
