We have a variety of instructional videos designed for students at every level. All our videos are brief (less than 5 minutes) and closed captioned.

Tutorial 1: Beginning Researchers

This suite of four videos is meant for first-year students or those new to college-level research. Topics include keywords, popular vs. scholarly, the Deep Web, and how to use Multi-Search.

Tutorial 2: Intermediate Researchers

This suite of three videos is ideal for juniors or seniors. Topics include peer-review, what “The Literature” is, and some search tricks (phrases and truncation).

Tutorial 3: Advanced Researchers

This suite of three videos is meant for upper-division or graduate students already comfortable with research basics. Topics include advanced database searching, information economics, and open access.
